Quick Meditations for Work

My favorite free meditations for work you can do in under 6 minutes right at your desk

Meditation is a training of our awareness, an acquainting of our mind with our soul and purpose, our virtue. It is a practice of calming the mind, body and becoming more peaceful. It helps us to free ourselves from worries and distress, and experience true happiness.

It’s meditation practice, not meditation perfect. Meditation is a practice. It is a skill, like exercising or yoga. It becomes stronger with practice and repetition. Consistency and commitment is the most important thing – the journey is far more important than the destination.

Because you are busy and don’t have time for a 30-minute meditation every morning I put together six of my favorite meditations for work. So, plug in your headphones, find a quiet spot and meditate the stress away.

 

3-minute meditation to feel more focused

This meditation is lead by the amazing Deepak Chopra and perfect for work because you can leave your eyes open! You will be more focused on the day ahead.

5-minute energy boost meditation

This meditation gives you a sense of renewed energy and power. Listen to it after lunch break if you feel tired, helpless, powerless or afraid.

3-minute mindful breathing

Feel more settled and calm by spending 3 minutes focusing on your breath. It is perfect to release stress if you feel overwhelmed.

Just to warn you: this meditation contains strong language! But sometimes this is exactly what you need at work. It is perfect when you are really pissed off at work 🙂
